Most birth professionals have no idea how to support a family through loss.

And most families find that they are alone, even when they should have had a good support system.

But you can change that.

You can be the gentle, confident support that every single client needs – regardless of the outcome of their birth

I’d love to invite you to

Holding Hope Live!

Friday-Saturday, June 19-20th

The knowledge and support you need to be able to support your clients through a loss, and to hold hope for them as they process is an important skill that all birth support professionals should have.

Holding Hope Live is live, one-day event that will equip you with all of the tools to understand pregnancy and infant loss, so that you can support families as they face this vulnerable time.

By the end of this class…

You will have the tools to show up for your clients in an untriggered and confident way

You will be able to hold space for grief and joy at the same time

You will know how to honor a baby who did not make it earthside, while holding his parents gently and carefully

You will be able to help your clients feel loved and supported even during one of the hardest times of their lives

Got Questions?

  • Yes! At the end of the course, you will have a couple of assignments. Once those are completed you will receive a certificate as a Bereavement Doula.

  • I have applied for CEUs through the South Carolina Chiropractic Association and through the Midwifery Education Accreditation Counsel. Once those applications are approved, I will be able to provide CEUs through those organizations.

  • It is impossible to cover every single kind of loss in any kind of course. Whole books have been written, which have barely scratched the surface. That being said, this course covers as much as possible, and gives tools to still be able to support families through any kind of loss that is not covered.

  • This course will be taught over ten hours on Friday and Saturday, June 19-20th. But there also is some take-home work that is entirely self-paced and can be completed as your schedule allows.

  • There are no formal prerequisites, but a background in supporting pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, or a basic understanding of pregnancy and birth is helpful.

  • Yes, course materials will be available via hard copy during the class, and an email will be sent out after the class with links to virtual copies of resources.
